Confirmation is a program for 7th and 8th grade members that is intended to continue, more intentionally, the exploration of faith, life, and the church so that students become firm in their knowledge, hope, and trust that God will continue to lead and guide them in all the aspects of their lives now and in the future.

This happens through a two year process where the students will learn about the Bible, the Life of Jesus, the Protestant Reformation, The Sacraments, and the different pieces and parts of Luther's Small Catechism (the Ten Commandments, The Apostle's Creed, The Lord's Prayer, etc.). Students also attend a week of Campfirmation during the summer.

After completion of this curriculum and mastery of its content, the Confirmand is led through an Affirmation of Baptism rite within the context of a Sunday morning worship (usually either on Pentecost or Reformation Sunday) and is thereby made voting member of the congregation.
